Core Beliefs
God
The Lord God is one, yet made of the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, the beginning and the end. We, his creation, were made to be his people through baptism by the name of the trinity. He is the source of truth and love and is deserving of our worship, obedience, and service to himself. God the Son, Jesus, came to earth as both fully God and fully human. He was crucified for the forgiveness of our sins, buried, and raised on the third day. After his resurrection, Jesus was exalted to the right hand of God, gifting us the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible
Our rule of faith and practice is the New Testament. We believe both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God, but that the New Testament is the exclusive book of authority for today.

Salvation
We believe salvation is given by the grace of God after one accepts Jesus as the Savior and Lord of the one’s life by faith. We accept Jesus by believing in him as Lord and Savior of our sins; making confession of him; and by being baptized into him. We practice baptism by immersion, as the Bible teaches. The Lord adds you to His Church after you are saved. God also expects us to be faithful to Christ until death to receive the crown of life. Weekly Communion
We observe the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. We read that the early church met on the first day of the week to partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine in remembrance of the Lord Jesus. As we gather around the Lord’s Table, we have no right to invite or bar anyone from it.
